Themembers’ desk.
Everything you need to manage your membership — without waiting for staffed hours.
House rules.
LIV is a communal space. These basics keep it working for everyone.
Members only.
- We’re a private gym for members aged 18 or older. Guests of members are welcome per our guest policy.
- Pets are great, but for everyone’s safety — including theirs — we don’t allow pets.
- Service dogs are welcome; please email info@livfitness.us before visiting so we can plan how best to accommodate you.
- We do not offer day passes.
Be cool.
- Members of all experience levels use this space. Be kind, empathetic and respectful.
- Good etiquette means sharing. Asking to “work in” or “how many sets left?” is totally fine — facilitate work-ins and reciprocate when you can.
- Your social content doesn’t outrank anyone’s workout. Don’t monopolize space or equipment to film, and don’t film others without consent.
- Taking a call? Be aware of your impact on others — take it outside if needed.
- Avoid dropping weights from elevation.
- When you’re done, wipe down upholstery, cardio touchpoints and other contact areas.
Tap in upon entry.
- Every member taps their key fob at the door reader — even if someone holds the door for you.
- The door system counts entries per tap-in and may block fobs that let multiple people in on one tap.
Be safe.
- Exercise and use of the facility is entirely at your own risk. Know your limits, and consult a physician before starting any exercise regimen.
- Use a spotter with free weights, and the pin/pipe safeties in the squat racks.
- Never leave a treadmill unattended — or straddle it — with the belt running.
- Wear appropriate shoes and athletic attire, and stay aware of people, equipment and objects on the floor.
- LIV Fitness isn’t responsible for lost or stolen items.
Know the trainers & staff.
- Training and coaching is authorized only for credentialed individuals who contract with LIV Fitness. Find a trainer here.
- Our staff is here to help. If something needs attention, tell one of us or email info@livfitness.us.
Bring a
friend.
Occasional guests are welcome — up to two at a time, 18 or older. No charge. It’s for visitors, not a “supplemental membership.”
Come with a member
Guests must be accompanied by an active month-to-month member. Guest visits can’t recur for longer than one week — after that, consider joining.
Staffed hours only
Guest and member arrive together during staffed hours. Warning: arriving outside staffed hours with a guest may lock out your account.
Check in at the desk
Both of you check in at the front desk, and the guest signs a form each visit.
Meeting a trainer?
Special case: if you’re meeting a trainer for the first time, you may meet as a guest outside of staffed hours. The trainer will set it up.
Take a
break.
Traveling, or just need time off? Once per calendar year you can suspend for up to 3 consecutive billing cycles, at no cost. Billing and gym access pause, and your membership stays in good standing. You can always come back sooner.
- We suspend billing cycles, not calendar time.
- Send your request at least one business day before your next billing so that cycle is included.
- Put your phone number in the subject line — it helps us verify your account, since names can be similar.
No hard
feelings.
Moving, or just done? Cancel with one business day’s notice — it really is as easy as joining. Not sure? Suspending is free too.
